Woman Forced To Wear Maternity Clothes Due To Large Frame Completely Transforms Her Body

A 29-year-old woman is shocking people with a drastic weight-loss transformation. Melissa Mouawad struggled with binge eating from a young age, leading her to become obese as a teenager. But after a wake-up call from her doctors about her unhealthy diet, Melissa completely overhauled her ways. She now looks and feels like a completely different person.

“I’ve always been obsessed with food and as a child would often sneak treats from the kitchen into my bedroom, so I could eat it later on. I’d binge on a dozen donuts, fast food, blocks of chocolate and soft drinks each night,” Melissa told the Mirror.

When she was 18, Melissa wore maternity clothes to fit her frame.

Eventually, Melissa’s doctors warned her that she was at risk of diabetes or a heart attack. Surviving on sugar-laden treats and fast food was putting her health at risk.

“I was so frightened,” Melissa said. “And from that moment I decided to change my lifestyle.”

The Sydney, Australia, woman began to monitor her diet more closely. She also started working out in the gym regularly. At first, it was “incredibly difficult,” she says. She tried countless diets and exercise regimes, but her weight fluctuated, and she had no idea what she was doing.

Five years ago, Melissa finally found a routine that worked for her. After that, she says the pounds began “falling off.” It’s not easy — she works out six days a week for an hour, and she eats a high-protein diet full of fruits and veggies, which means no more fast food.

But thanks to her new fitness routine, Melissa feels totally transformed — not only physically, but mentally and emotionally.

“I’m fitter than I’ve ever been, and I can’t believe my body can move the way it does now,” Melissa said. “My life has completely changed. I feel like a totally different person now to who I was ten years ago.”

“I have more confidence. I’m outgoing, and I’m just happy and loving life.”
