by pregnancy journalist

Last week, we held an RTÉ Hourglass Series live podcast in The Little Museum of Dublin with RTÉ presenter Jacqui Hurley, model and mum-of-four Alli McDonnell and WellNow Co coaches Jessie and Suzanne.

Hosted by our own Taragh Loughrey-Grant, the women discussed the various aspects of finding and maintaining a work-life balance.

In the video above, Alli spoke to Taragh about her life as a single mother; from her son’s diagnosis with autism to how she copes with balancing her work as a model and the needs of her children and what she does to keep herself sane and healthy.

The incredible Eleanor McEvoy performed on the night, entertaining the audience with songs from her new album, The Thomas Moore Project before sharing her own ‘struggle to juggle’ as a musician and mother.

RTÉ presenter Jacqui Hurley spoke about her life as a working mother; from creating a family calendar that would allow both her and her husband to pursue their careers while finding time for family dinners to inspiring parents everywhere to be kinder to one another.

WellNow Co coaches Suzanne and Jessie shared their takehome tips for living a healthier lifestyle before discussing the language they use when it comes to ‘treating’ the little ones.

Inspired by the night’s events, Eleanor treated the audience to a stunning performance of the renowned Only a Woman’s Heart – watch it above
